Manager: If victorious at UFC 143, Carlos Condit unlikely to wait for champ GSP

Malki Kawa understands why Cesar Gracie’s highest-profile client, Nick Diaz, would wait on the sidelines if he’s victorious at tonight’s UFC 143 event.

Diaz and Carlos Condit headline tonight’s pay-per-view event and fight for an interim welterweight title, and injured champ Georges St-Pierre awaits the winner in the fall.

And while he understands the financial benefits of waiting for St-Pierre, Kawa thinks his client, Condit, would be better off taking another fight instead of waiting.

UFC boss stands behind Miguel Torres release, says policy change unnecessary

TORONTO – While this weekend’s UFC 140 event provided plenty of
fireworks for fans, the biggest bombshell of the week was dropped on
Thursday night, when Miguel Torres was released from the UFC.

Two days after the controversial move generated much debate in the MMA
community, UFC president Dana White said he stands firmly behind his
choice.

“You can agree or disagree with me, and if you want to see if anybody
disagrees with me, go on my Twitter,” White told MMAjunkie.com. “The bottom line is nobody has any business making jokes
about rape. We’re in the fight business.”

Hawaiian Fighting Arts and Tuff-N-Uff Fighting Championships

On March 26th, the Hawaiian Fighting Arts team will be at The Orleans for Tuff-N-Uff Fighting Championships. We will be represented by Alex Brooks who will be fighting Jordan Wright on this card. The doors open at 6:00pm and we hope to see you guys there! Main event is Randy Couture’s son so there should be a good turnout for this one.

Welcome to the new Hawaiian Fighting Arts website. The old site was just a temporary site that we put up so that we would have a web presence because of the exposure we were getting from our fighters the local Las Vegas amateur MMA events.

The first thing you will want to do is register for an account for yourself. You can do this by clicking this link (register now) or by clicking on the “register” link on right hand side under the login boxes.

When you sign up for an account you will be able to add to the mixed martial arts conversations, start your own MMA conversations with other people, find out where Hawaiian Fighting Arts fighters will be fighting, and more. Obviously this is still a “work in progress” and it will gradually get better and better with your continued participation and our desire to improve the website and its functionality.
