You have found this site hopefully during your attempts to find a more complete martial art. You are looking for something that will give you an edge in the ring. Of course there is no martial art that will dominate other martial arts, but there is one martial art that is considered to be the most adaptive in any fighting situation and that is the Hawaiian Fighting Arts (Kajukenbo).
Why learn the Hawaiian Fighting Arts?
Training in the Hawaiian Fighting Arts will give you an advantage over other martial arts due to the vast scope of adaptive training. As mentioned above, the Hawaiian Fighting Arts gives you the ability to adapt to the situation in the ring. You will learn how to incorporate a vast array of techniques designed to give you the openings you need to impose your will on your opponent.

About Sifu Joseph Solis
I am 44 years old and I train and manage MMA and martial arts fighters. I was born in the Philippines and raised in Hawaii. I started training in boxing at 4 years old. When I was 7, I added Shotokan Karate to the arts that I was learning and took that until I was 17 years old. I went into the Air force at 17 and soon after, started taking Kempo and Escrima.
I opened my first school in San Rafael California in 1990. In 1994 I moved to Las Vegas Nevada and opened up a school here.
In 2000 I started working with MMA fighters and I became the matchmaker for Combat Sports Elite out of Dothan Alabama. Soon after that, I started up with another company as head of talent development for Warfare Extreme out of Kansas. At the same time, I help start and found the NAMMAE (North American Mixed Martial Arts Expo) trade show. I am also currently in Charge of DMHA Athletics, which is the fight team for the NAMMAE.
I am a Black belt 7th degree in Kajukenbo, Lima Lama and have black belts in Escrima and American freestyle. I am a 1994 Inductee into the Masters Hall of fame and currently teach and train at the Hawaiian Fighting Arts MMA and Martial Arts Academy.
